Beaches are a hot spot for travel as we ween out of the global pandemic due to the ability to stay distanced from others and be able to spend most of the time outdoors playing in the sun and sand. Cancun is a top destination for its beautiful beaches, historical sites nearby like Chitzen Itza, culinary offerings, and all inclusive resorts that cater to every type of traveler.

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I think Vegas is always a good idea (I live there)! Other travelers must agree because they are flocking to Sin City for a little bit of "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"...whatever that means. You'll find amazing shows starting to open back up, exquisite dining, and of course partying and gambling at all hours of the day and night.

You can't go wrong with somewhere in the Caribbean. Punta Cana is another beach destination that offers so much more than just lounging. If you want some fun in the sun, you can go zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, and snorkeling all in or around these pristine blue waters.

  

Take your pick in Florida! Depending what type of activities you enjoy, there is something for anyone and everyone there. Do you love screaming at the top of your lungs on rides and rollercoasters? Then the multitude of theme parks in Orlando might suit you. Do you love nightclubs, dancing, and Latin music? Then a few nights in South Beach might do the trick!

No surprise here that another beachy, coastal city reins supreme this year. Myrtle Beach is a great family friendly destination with lots to do such as walk the Boardwalk, ride the SkyWheel, or charter a fishing boat. It's also a perfect place for golfers to take advantage of one of the celebrity designed golf courses.

Don't pass up the opportunity to take the Hana Highway for one of the most scenic drives you're ever likely to take and go see  Haleakalā National Park to get your fill of volcanic activity.

Yes it will be hot in Egypt in the Summer, but you'll get to see the Pyramids - I repeat - the freaking Pyramids! They're just a stone's throw away from Cairo - located in Giza to be exact, but you can spend a whole day there and then dedicate your other days in Cairo to seeing the other historical sites such as the Nile River and the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. I'd say it's worth the heat.
