Non-Liquid Toiletries That Are Perfect for Carry-On Travel

6 Non-Liquid Toiletries that are Perfect for Carry-on Travel

As airplane travel begins to take off again (pun intended), we're reminded about all of the restrictions imposed on carry-on baggage. One of them being the restriction on liquids you can bring onboard your flight. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) currently allows 1 quart-sized, zip-top bag with 3.4 ounce (100ml) bottles of liquids per person. This can be a bit limiting (but totally doable), but there's an even easier way that guarantees your toiletries won't spill and become a huge sticky mess inside your bag.

Here are 6 non-liquid toiletries that you can carry-on without worries:

Shampoo Bars

I often struggle to find a good shampoo to fall in love with and once I do it becomes my holy grail. Imagine going to the airport and coming across the security check just to have to throw it away? Nightmare, right?! Or getting to the hotel room and unpacking your luggage when all of a sudden you find your expensive clothes covered in your favorite shampoo.

Anything can happen while traveling and luggage gets thrown and bumped into a lot. So why not invest in some shampoo bars? They work just like regular soap bars except they're for your hair. One thing I enjoy about shampoo bars is how mess-free and super compatible they are with my packing light goals, not to mention how great they are for your hair because they carry less chemicals than your regular bottled shampoo. Check out some options here.

Solid Skincare

Surprising as it may seem, there are solid forms of our favorite skincare products. Good thing they exist or else I don’t know what I would do if I had to throw away my expensive skin regime!

Some brands offer cleansing sticks, moisturizer sticks, sunscreen sticks, stick toners etc. There are a wide variety of products out there, like these,  that will pass through security with ease, saving you time and a headache.

Solid Perfume Sticks

No need to pass up the chance to smell good on vacation. After a long day of sightseeing, one of the most coveted items for a girl on the road might just be a simple spritz of fragrance. And now you can have the convenience of not carrying a heavy, breakable liquid perfume bottle and the ability to freshen up anywhere, anytime with solid perfume sticks like Aroamas

They are as small as a chapstick container, and pack a whole lot of amazing scent in a tiny package. And you can apply it basically anywhere on your body you'd like!

Toothpaste Tablets

There are two types of people in this world, those who squeeze their tube from the top and those who squeeze from the bottom. I am one of those who begins at the top then ridicules herself for doing it, but one thing I hate is a pasty mess.

But never fear, tablets are here! Best of all, they even exist in chewable forms. Just pop it in your mouth, chew, brush with a wet toothbrush and voilà - clean teeth without any liquid toothpaste.

Toiletry Sheets

What are toiletry sheets you may ask? Well they are thin sheets that can be used as soap, shampoo, and even shaving cream. These thin and lightweight sheets conveniently get sudsy only when you add water.

This is a great alternative to have especially when public bathrooms run out of handwash. Yikes! They’re also super tiny, lightweight, and will be sure to make it a breeze when packing for your next trip.

Stacked Cosmetics

Make-up palettes and brushes and bottles and cases take up so much room! Pare down your cosmetics by only bringing the essentials and stacking them on top of each other - literally.

Subtl Beauty lets you customize your stack of make-up essentials including concealer, lip/cheek, bronzer, highlighter, and and shine control powder in one compact, cylindrical stack. It's such a perfect solution to simplifying your morning make-up routine and your packing make-up routine.

Next time you pack for a trip, consider non-liquid toiletries to help you achieve your carry-on goals! "Wearever" you plan on going to next, SPLICE clothing, reversible travel clothing can help you pack light and adventure easy so you can focus on the experience instead of the baggage. Happy packing!

I love shampoo bars so much! Save so much space and smell amazing too. Never tried toothpaste tablets – adding them to my list :)
